I wanted to pop in and report from Dragoncon (even though I don't normally read this thread). I did the Walk of Fame, which is the autographs there were two lines -- one for the Firefly women (Jewel and Morena) and one for the men (Adam and Ron). Actually Adam was at the same tabel as Mercedes McNab, they are doing (or did I forgot the scheduling) a panel on Evil in Buffy.
But I digress.
Adam Baldwin is donating all of the proceedings from autographs to the Salvation Army. I'm not sure about Jewel, Morena, or ron because I didn't do autographs (Although I did shake Ron's hand and say nice things). There were other people who were donating portions to various relief efforts.
The first Firefly Panel was very cool, I actually ended up in line next to two guys from town, it was weird. The cast was all really funny and wonderful even in the face of truly stupid comments and questions.
Just thought I'd let people know how nice it was.
That is one gorgeous cast. Gah.
Those shots are just wow. This one is my new wallpaper: [link] (I'm a guy, what can I say?)
No kidding Kalshane. As nice as the blue movie poster is, I think all they would have to do it put up random pics of the 9 and everyone would watch just to see the pretties.
They are very pretty, although Gina looks like she knows that dress is wrong for her. But it's something wrong with my head that I kept thinking, "Wow, great shoes!"
Hey, he used to be called Mr. Broomstick.
actually, he used to call it Mr Boomstick but Bruce Campbell called.
Heh.
"Alright, you primitive screw heads, listen up; this... is my BOOMstick!"
eggos:
Just went through the spiffy new Flash site. Love it. It's a bit slow, but great art design. I especially love the Chinese fan fold-outs. The "Browncoat Bonus" clip for doing the quiz was disappointing, as it's a clip that's been in the trailers. And I really really love the music. I hope that it's in the movie as well.
Now I want to sit my guests down and have them watch "Firefly" rather than drive to Delphi tomorrow.
Christ, Gina Torres is a beautiful woman. That orange dress is not good on her, but STILL.
Yeah, picture #3 clearly shows that it's all the dress' fault, not hers. That thing must have been sewn in Hell by the It's a Small World mannequins.
Hey, he used to be called Mr. Broomstick.
I bristle at that remark.
...what?
