Can anyone refresh my memory and tell me how long it took Simon to rescue River after receiving her letter? I'm thinking it was at least a year, yes? Because I'm wondering if this session is the one that was recorded right before she wrote the letter to Simon.

"For two years I couldn't get near her," said Simon in "Serenity, Pt. 2." So we're guessing a little more than that.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Those scenes sound a little too much like a real actor/director dialogue.

Heh. I can't make Joss's voice not be Joss. She is a wonder, though. Poor noodle. I guess I watched in the release order. Last session first? Then the one with dancing, then the one with the heartbreaking plea.
