Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Close! First discussion of the movie after a screening is here:

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Man, those clips are creepy when put together. You get a much more full and disturbing understanding of what has been done to River. The sheer amount of repetition throughout the series kind of takes the meaning out of it, like a word repeated to often: "I don't know what they did to her." "What did they do to her?" "We may never know what they did to her." Seeing this casts everything into sharp relief. I'd just about kill to see more of these sessions.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And they're so bloody nice about it. Joss is like, "We just want to use your brain! There's nothing wrong with using your brain!"

Hey. New board.

I sniffle at the ending. River's dance love is crucial to my appreciation of the character. I'm not sure why, but it makes her seem more... something. Good. Real. Important. Less like a plot point, maybe.

Session 416 (Information Page): http://www.session416.com/

"I'm confused by the session 416 FAQ--where was all this stuff confirmed?"

Depends on which stuff you mean. Mainly, what's been confirmed is that this is "official" marketing -- whether by 'Versal itself, or by Joss and Summer going off somewhere and filming these clips themselves. That's confirmed by, well, the fact this is clearly Joss and Summer.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

The first time I saw it, I thought the last line was, "Will I still be alive to dance?" Which made it VERY creepy.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
