Didn't look like rain was a big problem there. Or that the proprieter cared about keeping the rain out too much.
Hmm, can't say "hard light?" Okay, some sort of ion charge that repulses the rain? (handwaves the physics) Or maybe it just shorts out once a year during the monsoon season.
Plastic wrap and duct tape!
"Inside the universe of Serenity" here: [link]
Be warned, it contains about 800,000,000 spoilers.
Thanks, Kevin. That is awesome!
I saw that Serenity ad at AMC, and as much as I loved it (I wouldn't leave to go find my friend until it was done), I think it just made everyone around unfamiliar with it groan at the freaks.
ita, are you sure it was the same advert? I don't think it was.
Where
was
that masked post? I'd thought it was here...
It was an ad that talked about the show, its cancellation, the sneak previews, and had Joss's talking head.
What's been shown so far have been pilots. Pilots are like demos: show the characters, the world and the story possiblities. They're seldom among the best episodes. Anybody remember "Encounter at Farpoint?"
While I don't think "Serenity" was quite as good as the best couple of
Firefly
episodes, I'd hardly consider it a sucky or unrepresentative pilot. Seems to me that liking it and liking the series as a whole went hand-in-hand for most people.
