Aye. I remember someone arguing that, see, the Angel writers snuck in this whole Cordy & Angel romance, and eventually (after 2 years?!) Joss found out and had to fix it.
Bwah! Though to be fair, Greenwalt seemed far more vocally in favor of the 'ship at the time. And Joss did write the one episode in which it wasn't entirely nauseating from start to finish. (Though that "I'm only alive when you're inside me" line still makes me shudder. And not in a good way.)

I think that enough time has passed that I can state, without fear of repercussion...yes, that was kinda David's fault.
