An employee at that comic book store Nathan hates responds.
The comments are kind of wanky, just to forewarn.
Even if Nathan was the crazy abusive customer type, this sort of thing never goes well for the shop that's suddenly facing bad word-of-mouth from a famous person with a devoted fanbase. And the employees making snotty "you people" style statements about said fanbase in general is not going to help them.
KernelM is on the Serenity preview disc packaged with the British BSG set. I am, too, sort of, as part of a crowd scene at last year's ComicCon.
I believe some of the BSG DVD footage will gradually air on Sci-Fi on Fridays over the coming weeks, culmiating in a full day of Firefly, together with a 30 minute original Serenity feature on Wednesday September 27th at 10pm.
Joss isn't going ot DragonCon, also, if anybody is going. Dunno why they announced him.
Seriously Kevin?
Hmmm, I will miss most of it. . . perhaps I should take the day off. . .
I always wonder why these cons don't ask Tim to attend. It seems odd to me.
It is strange, Allyson. Tim was very entertaining both times I saw him in panel like discussions.
edited for stupid grammar.
I swear he's been written out of Firefly history. He is so awesome at panels. I've seen him just stand there forever after and talk to each fan who wanted to ask him something.
I thing you might be being a bit mama-bearish, Allyson. I really don't think he has been written out at all. And when anyone mentions the sequel to Serenity, Tim's name is the first one that pops up. Everyone is hoping he will write the sequel. I know I have my fingers crossed.
