When I went to Dallas to see Serenity previewed, friend had a River shirt with "No power in the 'verse can stop me" for me. Want I should find out where he got it?
I still need to see Batman Begins. Still.

I finally saw the Serenity trailer, before Land of the Dead. The audience didn't seem particularly interested. Someone looked at me funny when I whooped. Philistines.
Did you eat their brain?
I saw it before Land of the Dead, too. My audience, while small, did seem interested. Yay! Also, the BF said, "That looks pretty good." and I haven't been able to convince him to watch the DVDs.
Just out of curiosity, did anyone who requested the Jayne hat pattern I wrote up have a chance to knit it up? If so, did you have any problems with the pattern?

I'd love to see your pattern. I'm working off a combination of two patterns I found online right now (the first hat I made used acrylic yarn since that's all my local craft stores had, but I just got wool the other day, so I'm trying that now).
I had a dream about the Firefly movie which ended with Simon saying to Mal, "Don't look at me like that. I'm not going to have sex with you." Mal then moved to another room, where Inara said, "Well, maybe for the amusement value..."
I have weird dreams.
That's so funny. Good dreams. I so rarely remember mine. Though, if I were dreaming about the FF cast, I bet I'd remember.
I think I used your pattern, Anne, but it's been a while, so I'm not positive. I had to play with the numbers a tad, due to an inability to get the correct weight yarn in the right colors. I don't think that they make one of the suggested colors anymore (Tiger Lily, perhaps?). Still, I loved the pattern. I even used the basic pattern, sans ear flaps, for a couple of "normal" hats. I knit up the true Jayne hat for AnotherAlaskan for Christmas, and he just loved it. He wears it in public and everything. He's almost as much of a fan as I, but hasn't been posting here for a while.
