Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Another HITG moment. Franc Ross, who played Monty in the Firefly ep. "Trash," is in the "Sniper One" ep. of Numb3rs, playing Wayne Osborne, the early suspect and ATF snitch.

eta: Some other interesting items in his IMDB entry: he was in the first two eps. of season 6 of BtVS, and he played "Grizzled Human" in an ep. of Enterprise.

I just watched that ep of Numbers, and I didn't make the connection, but, yeah. Monty. Heh.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

She's taken to Netflixing films she knows will be horrible simply because AB is in them.

If she gets The Chocolate War, not only will she see a young AB, but she'll see my Queer Stunt Husband.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What's the story with the Queer Stunt Husband?

What's the story with the Queer Stunt Husband?

He did some acting in his youth, and The Chocolate War was filmed around here. He's listed on the imdb under his original name of Wayne Young.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I can only admire the stylishness of a woman with wardrobe of husbands.

I break out in hives at the notion of one...

Well, I've known the Queer Stunt Husband for decades, and since Pete doesn't like going to smoke-filled goth clubs, Alex is my standard partner-in-crime for club-going.

It's fantastic.

I should get me one of them...

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The Chocolate War

Which was directed by our friend Keith. The BF had lunch with Rachel, Keith's wife, today, in a nice piece of Buffista synchronicity.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, maybe Matt. Matt's shown some real obsession dedication tracking down CK flix too.

That's bush league—Christian Kane's movies tend to be at least enjoyable, if not always good. For Christian Bale I've paid good money to watch Swing Kids and Newsies.
