Um.

Well they're viewings in Canada, but in TO and Vancouver.

Oh man. And I'm supposed to visit friends in NY that weekend.

D. Griswold, Jesse, are there any late night buses running to/from Jersey Gardens to a connecting point? Maybe you could take PATH or NJ Transit across to Newark or some other connecting city in NJ and take a bus from there?

Yeah, but I'd like to know which midnight they mean. It's midnight somewhere right now.

I called the Memphis theatre and was told they don't go on sale until start of business tomorrow. But as the scifi fan community here should easily fit into an average theater with seats left over, I'm not too terribly worried about getting a ticket.

Huh. For DC tickets, it let me order, but then read as sold out. Now it just says sold out. That was damn fast, considering the showing just showed up, like seven minutes ago. I wonder if they just haven't actually gone on sale yet? Weird.

I'm divided as to whether I should drive to the Philly theater and be there at 10 a.m. when they open (it's 5 minutes from my house) or camp out online in an effort to get tickets. Decisions, decisions.

JenP - Jun 08, 2005 7:18:31 pm PDT #2885 of 10001

Well, if it's only five minutes away... do they reserve tickets to sell at the theater, or is it all one big system?

I think it's all accessing the same pool of tickets, so they can sell them at the theater just as easily as they can online. I went after the announcement last time when it was already sold out, and the person was able to look it up at the ticket booth and confirm no more tickets were left.
