I was really tempted to try to go again, but I don't think I will. (Although I'd really like to dress as Inara.) I'll let someone who didn't get to go to one yet get those tickets.
(Plus, I want to see it again when it's all shiny and done and have it be fresh. And I want to bring many friends, whose dollars will get added into opening weekend tallies.)
ION, I also want a PS2 game. This movie is screaming for it.
NY and LA are getting shafted.
Why do they hate us so?!?!
There were a good score of empty seats at the SF screening last night, so I don't think I'll feel too overburdened with guilt about going again.
After all the conversations here, I was looking around at all the vacancies wondering if there were a bunch of pissed-off scalpers somewhere muttering and stomping all over their bunches of now-worthless tickets.

Because you're beautiful.
I couldn't figure what was with that, either, JZ. I was shaking my wee fist at those seats and thinking "My FRIENDS could have been there, dammit!"

I certainly hope that was the case.
Any idea when tickets will be available?
Nope. First Buffista who hears a date posts here, I figger.
Y'know what burns me? Three screenings in Frisco. And none in the Bay Area's biggest city, San Jose.
Frisco my Aunt Fanny. It's
San Francisco,
and the only people allowed to call it Frisco are military retirees of WWII vintage, and even they get the squinty-eye from the natives.
My guess would be that SF is a bit more central to the entire Bay Area than SJ -- reasonably accessible from the North, East and South Bays.
Sacramento, though, that's a bit of a puzzler.
LA. NY.
I got your puzzlers right here.
