Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

it looks like the humongous gun that the chick with the nice ass is holding has no weight at all.

See now, that's why I liked the guns in Aliens so much, 'cuz they had a little shoulder rig with gyros and stuff.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

See now, that's why I liked the guns in Aliens so much, 'cuz they had a little shoulder rig with gyros and stuff.

It struck me that mabye it was like one of those Aliens guns, but even so, she should be leaning backwards to counterbalance the mass of the gun when in fact she's almost leaning forwards.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I picked up my SERENITY tickets today (I was confused by Fandango as the whether I had to bring in the print-off ticket, or if I could pick them up early). Question for anybody who saw it in Boston the last time - was it in one of the upstairs theaters? Because this time it's in theater 2, which is one of the first floor ones (and one of the big ones, I think).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Perhaps the gun is made of light-weight ceramic or plastic materials. /wank

Skinny girls carrying huge guns with seemingly no effort is a comics tradition, man. Don't buck tradition.

The preview of the comic is making me hot. Just because it's a Firefly freakin' comic which I thought would never exist, and the art is even good. It's too much to hope for. Now if they'll just fix those awful action figures...

I'm in the middle of taking that quiz. It is damn hard.

Gus, your stories of Firefly guerilla marketing in the wilds of wherever-you-are give me hope and joy. Really.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Wait -- I can pick up my tickets for Boston early? How do I do this?

I may have to seize the cat.

Can't believe I just noticed Eddie's link to fireflysupport.com some 99 posts back. Grumble. That would be MY domain name if I hadn't had the worst registrar ever (joker.com). But they took my money and then claimed it was MY fault that THEY messed up (transfer issues) and after a hojillion service requests nothing came of it, and it would've expired by now anyway.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I added the Serenity comic to my subscription last week, and the guy behind the counter said it was one of the most requested titles currently.

Visilurking

I wonder why they didn't have a serenity preview on Episode 3. Too expensive?

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

What's the release date on the comic, again?

I, too, mourned the lack of Serenity trailer on RotS (says she who has yet to see said trailer on the Big!screen). They probably didn't want to make the actual movie look bad...

Sorry, Kiba Rika, didn't realize that was your domain or your history with your registrar.

Still, funny what happened to it...
