After reading about this second wave of US preview screenings yesterday, I got all grumpy and jealous.

So I watched my entire DVD set of Firefly to cheer me up.

Finished around 6am, but.. it was kinda hard to stop!

It worked. It made me very tired, and I had some strange dreams about living spaceships, horses, more horses and yet MORE Morena (which is really starting to worry me), but there was a lot less, "GAH! They cancelled this show!?!?!?" and more, "these stories are wonderful".

I figure that September isn't really that far away.

So, did I mention that I'm coming to SF on the Memorial Day weekend to pester Suela? And that I impulsively bought tickets to Serenity without even consulting my kind hostess?

I was hoping to meet some Bay Area Buffistas during my visit, but I may get to meet the bulk of you at the Serenity screening.

I mean, I live in friggin' Pittsburgh. What are the chances that I'd be traveling on the day of screening, and that I just *happen* to visit the city where preview screening is available? The mind boggles. But in a totally blissed-out, stoned whoa way, like Keanu.

Well, I am super psyched to get to meet Vonnie as well as see Serenity. Talk about your overflowing bounty.

*cries* *kicks job*

I worked all day.

I got a rock.

Oh well, as long as Andi moves up here and sees the DVDs so we can both be together for the September 30th showing...

I gotta agree with Stephanie, but add a [sometimes]:

Worst of worsts, okay there are two, now that I think about it -

1. When I went to see HG2G, which I thought was a GUARANTEED Serenity trailer movie because I saw it where Calli saw it, and where another friend of mine had seen it, and they both saw the trailer, I didn't get it. My theory is that they replaced it with the Star Wars trailer.

2. I will be in Miami on the 16th, but not the 26th. Grumble.

But the good news is, I will get to see it in September, and it will be all finished and stuff. Yay! (My regrets include not getting the swag - I really want a keychain to go with my car, Serenity the Black Pearl - and also not seeing Joss's intro.)

Kiba. Write to him and tell him to mail you the damned DVD.

We ran F:IA and all we got was...well, we didn't even get a lousy t-shirt.

Blargh.

That's right. I'm bitter.

Joss should so send you keychains.

I wish I could come up with a reason why he should send me one, but I fear that, all toasters aside, I am unworthy.

::kicks Katie's job:: The only thing that's marring the whole deal is that you won't be there. But then we'll hang all weekend, watching vids, squeeing about fandom, getting drunk--well, maybe that's just me--and hiking (OMG maybe I should train or something? I'd forgotten how to walk for more than 10 minutes. Stupid car) and wheee! So much fun to be had! I'm kind of giddy. Or maybe that's because I skipped lunch.
