Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Chicago's sold out, but I had to call the movietickets.com customer service line to find that out. Damn.
I click on the Purchase button, and get sent right back to the original page for the "Special Advance Screening", only with today's date and not the 26th.
I've been getting May 5 as the title of the show, but the date was for May 26th (this was Fandango).
So, I went and got tickets (4) to the Providence show before I saw Jon's link for Boston. Anyone need four tickets to Providence? I will have to make a trip down (probably this weekend) to get them (Fandango at least allows you to print off a ticket right then and there; Movietickets, nsm). I haven't gotten an e-mail confirmation yet from Movietickets.com, but everything seemed to go through OK. They ended up being $10.75 a piece. If there turn out to have been any problems, I'll let people know right away.
I also have 4 for Boston, but I suspect I have people who already have claim (I'll keep folks posted if that changes).
If anyone's buying for Boston and can scrounge one for me I will totally take off work and hop a train if at all possible!
Hec and I are in.
Is LA happening? Is it already sold out? I have a (non-Buffista) Whedonverse fanatical friend in LA who will want to pounce if there's anything available, but may not get online in time.
Can you get to any of those cities by Southwest, Dana?
I have friends in LA (non-Buffista) who would like to know that same.
I have graduation this weekend and the Buffista F2F May 20th (driving to New Orleans). I'm going to D.C. to see Pacific Overtures the first weekend in June (graduation gift from the in-laws). Even leaving aside the hope that I will eventually have a job, I think I'd go nuts if I tried to travel to a showing.
I will simply wait until September. And seethe.

I called a friend, but there may be news one way or another before I hear back.
