And we got nobody. What's all these cities getting two cast members? Stupid BDH-hoggers.
Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Atlanta was cast-memberless, too. Unfair. Although, we did get two nice Universal lackeys.
Yay. And HoYay. Um. Then I start overanalyzing and should really tell my brain to shut up.
I grabbed a couple extra posters/flyers if you want one Kalshane.

Some of us didn't even get a preview screening.
Was it a finished version of the film, or where there obvious bits missing (special effects or sound effects)? Did the soundtrack seem complete?
I don't think those count as spoilers, per se, do they? Anyway, posted it in the spoiler thread as well, but I suspect some of the unspoiled would be interested in how close to finished the film looked.
Apparently Sean Majer and Morena Baccarin showed up at the Boston preview
Further proof that I can keep a seekrit. For a long time.
I didn't know who would be where, though, so no stringing me up and killing me.
There were no posters available at the Boston showing. (I did get a keychain, though.) Baccarin and Maher stayed on for autographing afterwards, which I thought was nice, but I couldn't stay as I have to work today and the public transportation was shutting down shortly.
The film =looked= pretty finished, including a rather lot of nice editing. The soundtrack seemed unexciting to me -- literally no memorable music that I can remember, so I hope they put the months between now and September to good use.
I would definitely see it again a couple of times at least. Everyone in the theatre seemed pleased.
Most obviously missing were the end credits.
I think some of the music may be replaced.

Excellent point, grommit. Considering how supportive Toronto is going to be of the film, that was unfortunate.
After a long email discussion about film styles and pop culture, me pimping the movie, her insisting "I never got Buffy," she finally watched the trailer I sent her the link for. This morning she emailed:
OK you got me. Where do I sign up? What do I need to watch before I see this? Since it's in the fall, I presume I have time!
I've offered the loan of my dvds--one at a time, of course. She blinked a bit, since she's trusted me with her Second Sight and Eddie Izzard dvds with nary a caveat, but she agreed.
Toaster me!
