Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Monk wasn't UPN. It was ABC/USA.

If I only had a brain...

Big ol' mea and culpa. Sorry about that.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I was just going through the gallery at the movie website and there's a picture of Book with short hair and a beard!

It's the 6th picture in the gallery section.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, Ron Glass was sporting cornrows and a goatee during the convention appearances the cast made while Serenity was shooting, so this doesn't surprise me much. Though I do wonder how that plays into the long hair being a requirement of his Order.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

On a side note, about the screening: is discussion about the screening going to take place here? Or, in spoilers?

Until the movie's released, those count as spoilers, IMO.

I would say spoilers, just because we're still 5 months from the actual release and I don't want to cheat anyone out of 5 months of speculation and discussion. (Though I may have to unsubscribe from here. I've never been "Spoiled" so I have no idea how good I am keeping my mouth shut.)

I would think Spoilers, too. I just wanted to make sure before I came in here Friday morning and wanted to burn my eyes out because of things posted about the screening.
