Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

'Shindig'

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

I may have to seize the cat.

Eeee! I want to play in that game. I already emailed my gaming buddies and told them I'm running a campaign.

I'll have to learn a new rule system because it's not d20 or the Eden one either. But that's okay, I can do that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tonight, Mikey, but not sure what movie.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I have dialup, so does anyone have a location where the serenity trailer can be downloaded as opposed to seen via browser...

If I only had a brain...

How can it be roleplaying if there are no d20s? My tiny brain is hurting.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

[edit: never mind: those links were to streams after all, not download the whole thing links. Bah.]

Also, how've you been? I don't think I've seen you in forever!

I may have to seize the cat.

Betsy, I hear some folk do it. I myself can only seem to wrap my brain around one system at a time. I was all set to DM a Buffy campaign (set in Miami! in 1986! Billy Idol music was involved! and a Rogue Slayer!) but it didn't go through. There's still time but - the math was so hard!

I am going to go ahead and add this mirror of the fullscreen trailer. It's from yousendit, so it will break eventually. But I just made it, just now.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

That site only has the hi-res (21Mb) and full screen (40.4Mb) files.

For those of us on dial-up, the "medium" display file is 8.7Mb. Right-click and "Save As:" [link]

It's small, but not bad. The "small" version is 5.0Mb, and plays too small to be useful.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Thanks, Ita. I know it won't be Hitchhiker's 'cause we saw the first showing.

I can't even.

X-posty with Minearverse:

Amazon.com DVD Top 10

Huh. Apparently the shows we watch are of insufficient commercial value to keep on the air. There has to be a way for network execs to sell to sponsors an audience that will buy $50 dvd sets. We all buy toilet paper and toothpaste too.
