Drusilla ,'Conversations with Dead People'
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Looking at the trailer, I'm thinking we're finally gonna get a bit more concrete info on Earth-That-Was. The planet they show after the studio logo is mos-def Earth, and the explody flash looks like it's somewhere near Houston. The bit later, with the ships leaving the planet looks like a few seconds later in the same sequence, same planet background, with Earth continent shapes.
Groovy.
Having examined every byte of the trailer, I come up with no Badger.
The 'verse has gone horribly wrong.

Joe Crow - I had similar thoughts about Earth-That-Was. I guessed New Orleans as the flash point, but Houston might make more sense. Still - wanna know the reason.
