I prefer the term "boobs" myself, or "breasticles" (pronounced "breast-tick-lees"). Just a preference. Not judging.
(although I admit the "teats" hate)
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Yeah, when I hear the word "teats" I think of attaching milking machines to them, dipping them in iodine, putting the first few squirts of milk in a cup to feed to the cats....
I just don't wanna go there....
I like using boobage instead of cleavage. Teats is right out. Think I refer to mine as boobs, usually, but pretty much anything will do. Except for teats.
I would like to thank each and every deity that the discussion has finally come around to boobs.
I like 'em. That is my final vote.

In other news ... the Laura of RandyNLaura turns out to be a ludicrously bitchin' graphic artist. She did a caricature of this shot: [link] in pencil that put me out.
I'll post it, soon. Along with FF tee-shirt distortion ala Laura.
t Comics and boobs. I should be selling tickets.
I vaguely remember that movie, but not the title. IIRC Bruce Dern had little pet maintenance robots.
dcp is a heathen. Sure, he knows kite-speak, but he reckons not with the knowledge of Silent Running [link]
I weeps, I does.
I loved Silent Running as a child. But when I saw it again a few years ago I found it too... preachy. But still fun.
I felt sorry for the poor robot that got swept away. But the space-hippie annoyed me.
Oh, yeah. Silent Running is all about being campy, now.
Kinda like Reefer Madness with a contained atmosphere.

Gee - lyrics by Rod McKuen, sung by Joan Baez? How could THAT be preachy.
Admitadely, I loved it as a kid too, but I can't even watch it now. I mean, I love Bruce Dern playing murderous and borderline-to-south-of-the-border-psychotic, but not for tree-hugging reasons.
