Nandi: I ain't her. Mal: Only people in this room is you and me.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Send him here, sj. It's all of Nilly's reviews archived on a website.

ETA: Figures ita would beat me by a couple of minutes. I'm slow.

Thank you both!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I'm just looking forward to the movie. Gonna drag some friends along and earn my first toaster.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

My DVD player is acting like a (not-very-) expensive paperweight. I'm in Firefly withdrawal.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Poor Una. Just repeat to yourself,

The movie is coming... The movie is coming...

"It's got to be the hair, Cotton. It's beautiful! Feathered and lethal. You just don't see it nowadays." Pepper Brooks - Dodgeball

DVD players are relatively cheap now - the replacement for our "free with Jeep" player we got back in '00 only set us back $30.

No one should be forced to go without Firefly, that's all I'm sayin'.

There was a guerilla FF poster (Mal, "Outlaw SF!") on the wall in my coffee stop this morning.

In the middle-of-no-fucking-where-Wisconsin.

I imagine an Amish kid with a secret bubble-jet printer sneaking out to the local caffeine-soaked pit of sin to pimp his secret vice. Go, Amish Kid! Get your sin on!

SB-JP (as they are known to their fan) lay down a kicking pseudo-country rockablilly vibe that is climbing up the long tail of $1-per-tune downloading.

Amish Kid is waiting for the day when he can upload a chicken, so he can groove out while milking the heifers.

I'm sure of it.

eta: Seriously. There is someone else in this very rural county who is motivated to pimp Firefly. (The county, BTW, has no movie theatre.) Somewhere around here is a fellow traveler. I am unreasonably uplifted.
