I had to walk a whole two blocks to the subway station this morning. Sure, all the sidewalks were shoveled, but still.
And then, when I got to work, the passageway that goes directly from the subway station up into my building was wet. I could have slipped or something!
DX, I thought the governor shut RI down completely -- official advisement to stay home, et cetera. Poor doobie!
Maybe in Providence. I don't think we got hit quite so hard down here. The roads are in pretty good shape.

My grandparents (the ones who live in Cape Cod) can't even leave their house.
Do they have power? I heard that lots of folks on the Cape are/were without power.
