I had pie already today, even though I didn't know it was National Pie day. Of course, it was meat pie (one chorizo, one chicken), and not pie pie, but it was still yummy, and eaten in some of the best company evah.
Plus, no snow, and Alibelle and I drove to the restaurant with the top down, since it was so pretty here.
And "YES" to fighting crime. Or, possibly committing some. I'm flexible.
I don't see why we have to limit ourselves to one or the other.
Oh, Lessons Learned. Lemme see: (1) Do not let Closet Buffyholic navigate. (2) Do not announce when the Super Sekkrit Invasion is going to happen. (3) Say "eh" more.
Shouldn't there be something in there about not letting Closet Buffyholic use the microwave. I mean granted, that wasn't related to your previous invasions of Canada, but I still think it's a lesson worth heeding.
Also, you forgot you've learned that the BBS is DEAD.

True, also.

How about hand gestures? Try hand gestures, come on.
I had no yummy brunch, but I think I will drown my sorrows in the making of pie.
I bought a Table Talk pie. In spirit of the day.
Well, my cake wasn't as impressive as it could have been, since I'm pretty sure I saw the exact same one at Starbucks, but whatever. My sandwich(es) were great. As was the company. Even though ita wasn't there. Baby Burrell brought the cute short-hairedness that we would have otherwise been lacking.
Just got back from grocery shopping to find that it is Pie day and I got none and that Johnny Carson is gone.
Which reminds me of one of my favorite Tonight Show moments. He was interviewing a 102 year old woman. he asked her what she ate and she said "Mostly pie", which of course cracked him up.

We missed you, and are jealous of your pie. I won't even ask if you want to share.
