snowing like a hamster
I love this.
And yes, it still is here, too. I'm considering venturing outside to take a few pictures, but I can't find my snow boots. My hiking boots aren't tall enough. Actually, with these drifts my thigh high boots wouldn't be tall enough.
It is gorgeous here, though.
It's only started snowing here a while ago. They're predicting 37-55 cms between now and tomorrow. Have I mentioned we already had about 40 cms this week?
Sue, we're going to get ~38 INCHES, and already had some on the ground. I am unimpressed with your snow totals.
Jesse, it's not even 10 degrees F here, and that's not counting the wind chill factor. You are both evil, and eval, even if you didn't cause this (but perhaps you induced the Canadians to cause this, to fight your eviltude).
Timelies all!
It stopped snowing here, but it is blowing like mad, which will make digging the cars out loads of fun.(No, I haven't been out to see what state things are in yet)
Is today national pie day, or tomorrow?
You totally did.
Though now I'm also looking suspiciously at JohnSweden.
I swear, if I were in charge of the snow, blizzards would happen mid-week, so you'd get a snow day.
In lethal cuteness bomb news: movies!
So cute!
BTW, Flea, the box got here safely.
Oh no! No more snow days. Already had two, which puts us at not getting out of school until June 21st. Last year we didn't get out until the 26th, which was just wrong wrong wrong. I'm thanking the higher powers (or JohnSweden) that it happened on Saturday, actually.
There, see? You're lucky I'm NOT in charge of snow! I remember routinely going until the 28th as a kid.
I'm also against big snow on the weekend, because it costs municipalities so much more money. One year, it only ever snowed on the weekend, and Somerville used up its snow-removal budget by like January. OOps.
