Tom, I don't think there's much that a doctor can do for a maybe-broken toe, other than tape it.
Natter 31 But Looks 29
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Lori, Charisse, not Clarisse.
shrift, I'd imagine it's incredibly difficult, since there is so little of it out there. But you do it so well. You capture the voices spot on, and you still get them to get it on. You're so good at it.
Though I wouldn't mind some Weiss/Vaughn either.
This morning when I got up I stubbed my little toe, badly.
oh how I feel your pain. I broke one of my wee toes this summer. I never went to the doctor though becuase I figured they couldn't do anything about it. I just iced it when I remembered to. It's mostly normal now. It sucked because I had just bought a cute pair of strappy sandals and I didn't get to wear them for the rest of the summer. I'm guessing you won't have that issue.
Happy Birthday Emily!
-t, my friend called from NO on Christmas to tell me it was snowing (I heard from a cousin that Houston got some too) and I thought of you and Dana.
Last weekend was fun and exhausting. I got home on the 22nd, ran some errands and then got ready for the party that night. It finally stopped raining so that we could set off the fireworks, and then later it started to snow. Alex would have loved it.
My dad actually showed up this year so he and I had lunch on Thursday. It's been 20 years since the man has lived in Shreveport and yet, everywhere we went people are all, "COACH!!" We also went shopping for my and Mr. H's presents. I got a necklace and earring set for my NYE dress and Buffy season 6, and we got a Saints jersey (easily his favorite present) and Beatles Yellow Submarine action figures for Mr. H.
My big present was the Mac, but sister 1 gave me a handmade magnet in the shape of a heart on fire that says. "My sister. She makes me laugh. She makes me think. Heather is loved." I think it may be one of my favorites. Sister 2 gave me a B&N gift certificate which I am about to use since they are having a sale. I also got a pair of sleep boxers with a bass on the butt and "Nice Bass" written across as my "Alex present."
I hope everyone else had a lovely holiday with family and friends.
If Sports Night is difficult, maybe shrift should try Lost porn instead.
t hopeful
eta: Ouch, Tom. I hope the pain is short lived.
Guess you finally had to put Clarisse's top up, huh?
Oh yeah.
But I'm mostly worried about Charisse getting crushed by a 46 year old King Palm. The planters they were planning on fixing after the New Year might not make it to a new day.
I think I may park on the street for a few days.
Poor wet lori feet.
ita, DXM - for me, the trick was to use the policeman whenever I have to stay with 3 kids on one side. And that the kids can stay with the policeman.
So I start with policeman-prisoner. The policeman returns alone, takes boy1, returns with the prisoner. Then, man takes boy2, returns alone. Man and woman go together, man is left behind, woman returns alone. Policeman takes prisoner. Man returns alone, and again the man and woman go together, so that woman returns alone and leaves man behind. Woman takes girl1. Policeman and prisoner return. Policeman takes girl2, and then returns to take prisoner. The end.
[Edit: Kristen, that's such a perfect name for your car!]
t plonks down in Natter
Hiya folks! I have not caught up in Natter. But I did see Billytea's post, so {{warm hugs}} for Billytea and his family. I'm very sorry.
I hope everyone had a pleasant time while I was away, eating too much and playing with the Piranha Puppy.
Now I have to go work, argh. t poof

It was pretty darn amazing, Heather. We decided to walk the dog while it was snowing to savor the full experience, and I'm so glad we did - fluffy flakes in the air around us, enough snow on teh ground to leave tracks, neighborhood kids scraping snow off the parked cars to make snowballs. And on Christmas!
And then the Saints beat Atlanta soundly on Sunday! Sure, it was blacked out so we couldn't actually see it, but it happened!
