Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I like Seth more now. Last season he was a bit of a Mary Seth -- this season he seems more like a kid who didn't have any friends until he developed an unhealthy attachment to a kid from a whole different world. Causes and effects, baybee.
Ryan had better stay the perfect bad boy, though. Unless they make him a scruffy drunken priest, or something.
