What the frilly heck is going on with the terrorist threat, here?
Here's the AP Wire story:
BOSTON (AP) -- The FBI notified area law enforcement Wednesday to be on the lookout for four possible terror suspects who may be headed to Boston.
A federal law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the matter remains under investigation, told The Associated Press that the FBI's joint terrorism task force has not yet corroborated a tip that the suspects entered the United States through Mexico in recent days, possibly bound for Boston.

And do you know, I almost just typed, "Bet ita could," in response to the zester question.
I am watching Atomic Train on Sci-fi. It's oddly engaging because of the people in it. But I shold stop, since I won't be able to watch the whole thing.
Sparky, thanks. The Boston Globe [link] says there are actually six suspects--four Chinese Nationals and two Iraqis, and that they're headed to New York and Boston. But it's only based on one source. Our governor was in DC for the inauguration hoohaa, but is coming home, instead. There seem to be differing reports, and I guess the Boston Mayor (who is no silver tongued devil) basically said nothing, but talked a long time, and probably mangled a good many words in the process.
Dirty bomb is, of course, one of the things I half heard.
I think this may mean I'm a horrible person, but the fact that my street is now a sheet of ice and my car is a complete terror to drive in any kind of weather makes me think the nice people should come deliver food to me.
(If I were a good person, I would say that they should stay home and stay safe themselves. But no.)
amych, a good tip will magically turn you a good person.
I've used Sawall's many times working in theatre. They are great. I've chopped ibeams in half with them. I've also chopped an old caddilac in half with one. You may go through a few blades, but they will cut through damned near anything.

Hopefully, they have safe-in-snow cars. So there's still snow up there? It's all melted down here. I'm feeling less confident about tomorrow's commute.
amych, yours is a very normal reaction. I drove pizzas for Domino's when I was in college in Colorado Springs, and when the weather turned bad we would get a tremendous rush of business. Then when the weather turned really nasty the calls would drop off sharply, and two customers out of three would either apologize for "making" us get out in the bad weather or ask us "how bad is it, really?" Tips went up dramatically when the weather got that bad. Drivers with 4wd vehicles earned an extra percentage from the store when the "bad weather" rules went into effect, so after some snow storms I remember going home with a couple hundred dollars cash from tips and "mileage."
