Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

No, Dana, that's art, you see. Of course.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Certainly not the one with the wet and often naked men.

Often would imply -- well, often, and I wager it's 5% at most. Websense overreacted.

You can't have porn without genitalia. I forbid it.

What is even happening?

I always feel compelled to trot out Marti's episode list from BtVS. I may not like all the directions the series took, while she was putative show-runner, but I don't know who decided what.

2.09 What's My Line, Part One with Howard Gordon
2.10 What's My Line, Part Two
2.12 Bad Eggs
2.13 Surprise
2.16 Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered
2.19 I Only Have Eyes For You
3.02 Dead Man's Party
3.04 Beauty and the Beasts
3.09 The Wish
3.15 Consequences
3.20 The Prom
4.02 Living Conditions
4.06 Wild at Heart
4.11 Doomed with David Fury and Jane Espenson
4.14 Goodbye Iowa
4.19 New Moon Rising
5.01 Buffy vs. Dracula
5.10 Into the Woods
5.17 Forever
6.01 Bargaining, Part One
6.10 Wrecked
6.20 Villains

Sure, I want to burn some, but not nearly as many as I enjoyed (and still enjoy).

edited, because I just realized Buffyguide.com never went to season 7, on their writer guide. That's too bad. It's a nice resource.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

In honor of the cold and snow that people are complaining about, some nice pictures of the recent spectacular Aurora Borealis, as seen in Norway:

Ooh, pretty.

Hi Gloomcookie!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I love Leo.

Me, too.

And one of my bosses just gave me a talking to about something I should have checked up on more thoroughly, but did not due to severe lack of time for exceptionally thorough instead of a mere above-average thorough.

I think I'll quietly go have an aneurysm now.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Why August 12th? We need a day off for a national holiday in August.

Hmmm. A holiday in August. Great idea!

I could also support April 5. Because it's a long time between President's Day and Memorial Day.

What is even happening?

JohnSweden, is August 12th St. Andrew's Day?

Thanks, Cindy. Though honestly, my main complaint with Marti stems from her interviews, not so much her resume. And also, Riley. I hold her responsible. And Into the Woods pissed me off so bad, all by itself, that it undid a lot of goodwill I had toward her for her many excellent efforts.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Hi, Alibelle :) I'm looking at my pretty pretty pink iPod right now, AIFG!

I can't even.

No, November 30th. Uh, but we could think of something.
