Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jess is me.

I should have said 'eeeeeevil' not 'evil'.

It's an important distinction.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the chick that plays Lindsey is pretty but not beautiful. Mischa is an alien-looking chicks.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Sherry does keep herself well. But I can't refrain from saying "oooh, she's eeeeeeevil," every time she comes on screen (watching Day 2 DVDs).

It causes great cognitive dissonance to watch either DS9 or Larry Sanders now that I've seen her Lady MacPalmer.

All the reviews of Point Pleasant have been pointing out how humorless it is, which is big strike against it. I know Marti brought the seasons of grim to Buffy, but she did bring the funny on more than one occasion. One less show to watch would be good, however, despite the fact that it and everything I have been watching has been laid out so as not to interefere which other. Some miracle allignment of the TV gods, I guess.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

From what I understand, PP has Satan. The OC has Marissa's mother (um, name flew. Julie?) who probably tries really hard, but....not quite.

I think Julie Cooper has the spirit down, just not the supernatural powers.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Kristen just had a fabulous idea, and one which I think needs a great deal of help getting off the ground. Someone call Hallmark, because I'm declaring August 12th to be Webmaster's Day.

Why August 12th? We need a day off for a national holiday in August.

This will be the day when webmasters everywhere get flowers, cards, and chocolates shaped like wee servers.

And perhaps porn, depending on what they serve.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And perhaps porn, depending on what they serve.

Do try not to get your webmasters confused.

Coding and Sleeping

That sounds like a good holiday especially since I am a webmaster. No porn though.
