Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aarrrgh!

So, returned home about an hour ago, and after lugging 50 million bags of groceries in, I discovered there is no electricity in my bedroom, living room or bathroom.

So, assuming a fuse was blown, I fgo downstaitr. Nothing. I flip every switch, nothing.

I call landlord (who is , like 23 years old with 2 kids who have bronchitis). She calls downstairs neighbor who does the same thing as I did, but is a man.

No go.

She calls her father, who tells us to unplug everything and try again.

So she will call an electrician tomorrow.

I am very annoyed and also convinced that the house will burn down. Also, I have no light in any rooms where I might read myself to sleep, nor any TV in a room I would sleep in.

Also, I need to clean my room and my kitchen, because and electrician will be coming tomorrow. AND we discovered a backed up basement sink while looking for a circuit breaker so a plumber is coming too. AND when I restarted my computer it told me I had unfixable problems with my start-up disk!

GRRRR

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Sophia! I just emailed you. Don't know if you get Albany radio in Rochester, but I'll be interviewed tomorrow morning at 8:20 am EST for WGY.

Wow Hec, that is awesome!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Condolences to Billytea - it's never easy, but at least you got to be there before the end.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey y'all. I will catch up...at some point. Maybe.

Billytea, I'm so sorry about your mother, but am glad you got home.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Jesse, how was your trip?

Lee, 10:00 sounds good.

ita, rumor has it, if you invest ~$100,000 in Burke Williams, you get 2 complimentary treatments a week (plus, the regular returns on investment). Just so you know.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, 10:00 sounds good.

Cool. The one in Studio City, or the one in West Hollywood?

Art Crawl!!!

Billytea -- I am so sorry for your loss.

Happy Belated Birthdays to the Buffista Boxing Day Babes! (Jesse, Theodosia and Rayne.)

I had a very nice Christmas -- got to play with my 4 year-old niece who is quite the character.

Also, despite having moved a year ago, my brother hung on to my dad's tv for me so, although not exactly a Christmas present, but as a result of Christmas I have a much bigger tv.

And for anyone who watches "Waking the Dead" -- did you see tonight's episode? Dayummm.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I just finished one of my Christmas presents, the DVD set of Ultraviolet. [link]

It's a six-hour British series with an interesting twist on vampire mythology. Pretty strange in some ways, but most of the plot threads are resolved in the final episode.

I'm usually pretty good at understanding accented English, especially the UK and Irish varieties, but some of the characters in this show were hard to understand -- harder than Spooks or All Creatures Great and Small, for example, but not as hard as EastEnders.

I'm willing to loan the DVDs out, if anyone is interested. Profile address is good.
