The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Even I have two different colors of nail polish in the house.

If clear is considered a color, I have two different colors of nail polish in my house.(Hey, I rarely wear the stuff)

Clearly, Noisedesign is a better woman than you or I, Sheryl.

It sounds like Ling Mao might be able to help us out though.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, I was also laughing over the nicer-than-thou thing and thinking about how Colin is trying to convince his girl that you aren't that nice. Why would he do that?

I have a plan.

When driving over Laurel Canyon today, I was amazed and sad to see a house I loved had slid and was just a ruin.

So the house races have begun?

Things I did today:

Went swimming

Soaked in the jacuzzi

Found out I got a freakin' job interview! Hell yea!

Got drunk

Those ladsst two not necessarily in that order.

edit; Hi Lee.

I'm prone towards the deep reds/browns/burgandies or neutral frosts these days myself. Very picky. Once upon a time, silvers and purples, but nsm now.

If I only had a brain...

I still think it's a kind of magic, that someone standing next to the camera is the one focusing it as it moves around. And some guy not even near the camera is the one rotating and zooming. And the other guy actually moving it around.

Which of these three guys is the cameraman? And who's the cinematographer?

I am the world's ugliest drag queen.

Lee has witnessed this in person. It's amazing she lived to tell the tale.

Betsy, are you still looking for a G-Hook?

Did you try the yarn store in Los Altos?

Also, hi.

If I only had a brain...

I think so, Kat. I got a teach-yourself-to-crochet book.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Colin is trying to convince his girl that you aren't that nice. Why would he do that?

I'd say I have no idea, but then someone might find in their caches where I said he wasn't that nice. Still ... sometimes it feels fair that we're such good friends. In ways we deserve each other.

Which of these three guys is the cameraman? And who's the cinematographer?

I'm reasonably sure that the focus puller (standing next to this really cool cantilevered crane) isn't either -- except he said he normally does zoom, which he handed off to the pan & rotate guy. I have no idea how even ten minutes of footage gets filmed. It seems so complicated.

The words were good and enticing.

Thanks!

And yeah, Kat, Z is a doll.
