I am watching The Nutcracker.
Does ballet really get prettier each and every time you see it, or is it just me?
Because it's just. so. pretty. With the pretty hands, and the pretty hair, and the pretty costumes, and the pretty spinning, and the pretty boys with the pretty giant leaps that make you go "wow," and all the pretty gracefulness.
Per the driveby, exactly what ita said. Fuck, that's just wretched.
Sumi, I read your white font and I HOPE SO!!! But also I know some casting spoils so... I dunno.
Oh, ouch, Allyson. And I am glad they arrested someone quickly. Those things going unsolved just makes it a little bit worse.
I know. I heard things that make me doubt what I saw.
Wah. WANT TO KNOW.
I'm stoked in ways that I hadn't been previously for the start of Alias. Not the least of which is that Michael Vartan looked particularly beefed up in one of the publicity stills ita linked to.

Isn't it so pretty? I love it.
Of course, most of the ballets I've been to, I haven't been able to watch at all. Ah, the joys of playing in a pit orchestra.
Yeah, you don't want to sit too close to the stage for the Nutcracker, though. The pretty goes away when you can see their tendons.
