Hey everyone! I had a great housewarming party last night.

That is all.

It sucked that the last time I was at The Grove was October 2nd, though.

Know what also sucks? That you were across the street and didn't tell me.

For me, it's because two cats are really no more trouble than one. Also because I had my wonderful kittikens and my GF wanted one that bonded to her. I loves my kittones.

Multiple pets can entertain each other, and thus leave you alone once in a while.

One of my college roomies was from out here, originally. Her folks moved to Nebraska when she was in high school, so she found family friends to stay with, because she didn't want to go. She also stayed with them if/when she left our school for weekends, etc. That family had two dogs. When one passed on, the second dog got so depressed, the family had to get another, to help her out. It was heartbreaking.

Me too! This is what I should do for easter... you can host it in home or at the store.

You are so mistaken. And probably jealous. That's the only thing that makes any kind of sense. Blonde wouldn't work well with your skin tone, would it?

We got more pets because Kit Ten LOVED Artie (whom we got because his owners were going to drop him off at the shelter, and we said NO, absolutely not, we'll take him), and then when he died, she was really upset. So, we waited a couple years, and finally got her a friend. Well, that was the plan, but when we got to the shelter, we couldn't separate the sisters, so we took them both. Kind of not factoring into our decision the fact that Artie was the only person Kit Ten ever liked. And she treats the babies with disdain, but we can't give them back now. And it's not really their fault that they're not that bright.

Well, cats (and many dogs) like to have company. It keeps them from getting bored or anxious at home all day. Having two cats or dogs is not hugely more work than one.

Christmas tree down and out. This is by no means our record of tardiness.

Halle's dress has too much going on.

I have no pet. Don't want any. But...a friend of mine gained a cat for his dog when one followed them both home. the cat was definitely interested in the dog and the dog likes the cat.

Warren Beatty is looking old. Annette looks good.

Also sometimes you have one pet and then you are smitten by (with?) another animal.

T!C, I had two cats because they were supposed to entertain each other better than one cat alone.

Actually, the kitten we got quickly learned up to beat up on the adult cat we had and then made her life miserable for their remaining 12 years.
