Aw, poor Bear. That's a really difficult thing to deal with. I was worried when my parents' dog got old and frail. She and my dog used to play a lot, but as she got older, the dynamic shifted. Fortunately, Lucy pretty much started ignoring the older dog. She would just push past her in doorways like she wasn't there. Sad, since they used to be such friends, but not as bad as aggressive behaviour would have been.
Oh, this was cute, though. Lucy knew how to open the back door at my Dad's house - it was a combination of hurling her body at it full tilt while making sure to hit the doorknob with a paw at just the right angle. When the older dog wanted to come in, Lucy would ram the door open for her and then go right back to sunning herself out on the porch.
I only intervene when:
- Bianca is trapped behind the toilet
- Black fur begins to fly
Fortunately, there hasn't been any blood. I keep waiting for the day that Bianca slams Jo (she's like twice her size but still kittenish so won't step up).
My kitties play the dominant game too. The funniest part about that is the fact that there are two babies, and BOTH of them are bigger than Kit Ten, who is the dominant one. I'm not even tempted to interfere, though, because they don't hurt each other, and it does make Kit Ten feel better. And it doesn't seem to bother the babies. So, it's all good.
hey, ita, did you know you could host an Aerosoles Party at Home. You get a free pair of shoes for hosting the party (or at one of their stores). You get a free pair of shoes for hosting and additional shoes for whatever gets sold.
It's like a tupperware party, but with shoes.
This is a sales party that I would be delighted to attend.
Well, at least Ozzie isn't Trouble sized. If Polgara's cats did that it would be tragic. Sorry Polgara.
Actually, Ozzie is 26 pounds.
Good for you, Alibelle.
Oh, I think Streep looks great.
Ali, brunette is the one true hair color.
It isn't. My hair is the bestest hair. I love my hair.
This is a sales party that I would be delighted to attend.
Me too! This is what I should do for easter... you can host it in home or at the store.
Dude. At the store.
Good for you, Alibelle.
Thanks! I had to share. It sucked that the last time I was at The Grove was October 2nd, though.
