Oh, and P-C, a friend of mine and Java Cat's is playing with Kronos Quartet. She's in an avant-garde handbell ensemble, and this is like a lifelong dream for her, so we're very excited.
Wow! Very cool.
Initially, I thought she was in an avant-garde handball ensemble.
an avant-garde handball ensemble.
That could have its appeal too...
The thing that killed me when I went to NZ were the books I brought to read on the plane.
I am a fan of travelling with wheels. Wheels are good, even if you think you're packing light/small. Also, I am the queen of packing a suitcase with an extra (fabric) suitcase packed inside, for the later transportation of any crap I should buy while traveling.
I am not smart enough not to buy 40 lb. worth of books 3000 miles away from my house.
Also, I just think wheelie duffles are cool. (Vote Burgundy! Choose BUrgundy!)
Katie, are you still around? I'm looking at the VVC signup and trying to decide if I want Saturday lunch. Did you do that last year? How was it?
Yes I did, and frankly it wasn't very good--I wasn't planning on getting it this year.
Wheels are indeed a good thing. As is two smaller bags, instead of one hunormous one.
Damnit. I just accidentally deleted my entire AIM buddy list. Again. (Don't ask. It's a gift.)
Aha! Good to know. And there are restaurants nearby at which to get food, yes?
Oh, decisions, decisions.
Okay, am registered.
