Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

The hand nearest the space heater is warm, but the hand by the window is numb.

I should not have to turn myself like a turkey to type.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Hi, P-C! How are you? How was your break?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I imagine the Surreal Life is way past desperate -- appearing on it would imply that you will never work again, so this will be your last onscreen cash.

I'm sure. I'd hope the people who are actually washed up are better off than the people who never quite made it, but who knows? I mean, possibly people who watch the show, but not me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

How are you?

Terribly overwhelmed with the whole having to write a review paper and look for a job and think about the future thing. But otherwise good.

How was your break?

It was pretty good. India was cool in its own way. I've been posting stories in Bitches.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd hope the people who are actually washed up are better off than the people who never quite made it, but who knows?

From what I've seenheard, that sort of washed up is no prize. I'm happy that Flav and Brig found love (even if she's reputedly living in another country with someone else), but can you be a performer and care as little as most of them seem to about what your audience thinks of you?

If you're as drunk as BN is all the time, apparently you can...

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

New Haven certainly did.

Hey, now. I liked New Haven.

The fact that I will never know the answer to this question is possibly the reason why I will never be a cultural icon like Flava Flav.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Ah, Buffistas. You always give good time suckage. Peanut butter jelly time was the hit of the day at my office. And my number one spot to live is Vegas, baby, Vegas! So overall, not a bad day.

And I would pay folding money to see the Flav/Brigitte spawn.

Sunset is really gorgeous right now, especially from my vantage point, which is facing west across a ravine. Neat tree sillhouettes and the reflection of the firey pinkpeach sky in the falls below.

Doesn't quite make up for the hell afternoon of contacting the gas company to start getting billed for gas, locking everyone out of the pc terminals in the operations room (change the password and don't tell me again why don't you,) and finishing up my 9 month overdue performance appraisal. FUN.
