Coding and Sleeping

Obviously technology ads must be banned from any magazines that CEO's are prone to reading.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I spent most of the morning in a file room and only got about half the info that I wanted.

I did some of that yesterday. Our department files had a gap, so I went to look at the University file...pretty much the same gap. Much more complete around the edges, but still the gap. Bizarre.

I feel better with the colder weather (It was in the 60s when I got up, it's 40 now), because at least I know what to wear.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Don't I wish. The worst part is when he finally gets the thing his first reaction is "Wow, it's really small. That screen is really tiny. It's a good thing my eyesight is good, because that screen is really small." while I'm biting my lip trying not to say "Well, it was advertised in the magazine as an ultra-small, ultralight with a 10-inch letterbox screen. What the hell did you think you were going to get?"

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Today he calls the support desk all upset because he's missing a lot of important e-mails. Where was he storing them? The trash. (sighs)

You have seen the movie Nine to Five haven't you? So long as your boss doesn't have a relative at the office likely to report him missing, I'd recommend that approach from this point onward.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, what's the best way to recruit Dolly Parton for this plan?

Our wings are not tired.

We have big severe thunderstorms. Loving it. First because I love a good storm, also we need the rain very much.

I just don't want to lose power and/or sat signal when the Titan pictures come through. Talk about yer first world problems.

Afraid not.

Well, thankfully he's not my direct boss. Or even technically over me. The entire IT department is considered part of the Corporate office, regardless of where we work. However, he is a big muckity-muck and thus has to be catered to.

Art Crawl!!!

If you're a lefty

It took me a minute to figure out what handedness could possibly have to do with it. I need sleep.

Amych -- me too. Maybe I need sleep too.

My top cities were:

1. Eugene
2. Corvallis
3.Charleston, WV
4. Frederick, MD
5. Sheboygan, WI
6. Madison, WI
7. Salem, OR
8. Medford, OR
9. LaCrosse, WI
10. Kenosha, WI

Not in the top ten but interesting places that they picked where I've already lived:

11. Baltimore
12. Champaign-Urbana, IL
17. Gaithersburg, MD
22. Chicago -- I'm really not sure how Chicago is "mid-sized".
