Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

As of 2002, the furthest space probe from earth (Voyager 1, launched in 1977) was about 12 light hours from earth.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We are wondering if B5 Season 5 is worth it to buy, or if we should Netflix it. there's a completist urge to get it, but I hear that it isn't very good.

I'd say if you have the option of buying a single disc that has "Sleeping in Light" (the series finale) on it, it would be worth Netflixing the rest and then buying that. But I wouldn't lay out the money for a box set.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

After I plugged in my lefty-liberal/weather-avoidant/mid-size-town data, Find your spot told me to move to Eugene, OR, or Corvallis, OR. Either of which sound great if I could get work thereabouts.

Lee, I've recently fallen for the OC, too, and Amyth recently lent me her season one DVDs. So I'm having the fun of watching Seth's trainwreck meeting with Summer's dad in an older episode and then hearing it referenced in last night's episode. Bless those writers who feed me bits of continuity!

Hearing Sandy sing last night was loads of fun. I can totally imagine him in Guys and Dolls.

Our wings are not tired.

I hadn't seen the OC in quite a while so last night was surprising and fun. My Sandy love is great.

Dear Adam "Gutbuster" Connors,

We regret to inform you that you have not been selected as a member of this year's class. Training to be part of the X-Men team is difficult and, unfortunately, your mutant ability to spew large amounts of mildly offensive fumes from your rectum is somewhat duplicative seeing as we have a janitor named Carl with the same—albeit involuntary—ability. In addition, Wolverine can be rather ripe at times, which, in small confined spaces, might overshadow your talents. Thank you for your interest in Xavier's School of Exceptional Youth.

Does it tell you in email, because I really don't want to give another place my email address. I got that far, and then backed out.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No, it tells you on the screen. Just put in anything.

Me too, Cindy, but I think I was more lazy than paranoid. Together we could ignore the world!

I like to setup yahoo/hotmail accounts just for giving out places that want them. Once the spam gets out of hand, I just dump it and get another.
