It's 3 degrees here right now. No snow though.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

WAT was indeed kind of intense, at the end. I tend to prefer the stories that end happily, just because, the people who are the nicest/best/most innocent are usually the goners. Not to the proportion of 24, where Jack bauer's path is strewn with bodies, but it happens often enough.

I think it was the Monday TNT rerun that ended with the Hot Danny Taylor weeping. GAH.

Which one?? There are like five episodes in which that happens. He is Mister Manly Crying. (By contrast, Malone gets dyspeptic and/or depressively silent, and Martin never seems to be disturbed by anything. I think he is a robot.)

That is indeed some freakishly warm wind this morning. Of course, by nightfall, it will be freezing again.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have loved Sandy since the very beginning. All y'all can fight over Seth, but Teh Sandy is MINE.

Me too!

Alex? Eyebrows? This must be some TV thing. I don't do TV anymore outside of PBS kids shows. Except for the treadmill time, then it's all old TV. Halfway through the second season of Babylon 5 now, the plots arcs are really getting interesting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He is the arcy master, at least in theory. Rumour has it he started from the finale, and worked backwards. Now, whether or not that's the best way to go about it, or if he made the most of it -- that's up to more debate. Certainly interestingly monomaniacal.

It was sleeting when I left the house. And it had dropped 10 degrees in an hour. Sigh.

I need to do work. I really do.

Did we know that JRM is set to play Elvis: [link]

From the same article:

“You see some people making $10m on one film and then $100m the next. Orlando Bloom — give us a break. If the guy could string two words together . . . And still he’s earning $12m a movie.
