I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have MLK day off, because the students have it off. There are a bunch of holidays the students don't have off, when I have to work; and of course, the "students have time off" thing falls apart when it comes to the three-month vacation thing.

I work at a university, and MLK day is one of those days when the students get off, but I work. It sucks. We get 7 paid holidays. We used to have 4 floating holidays, but those floated away a few years ago...

I know I bring this up every time we mention Furries, but I feel that some day I will find the answer... remember the fetish map linked oh so many moons ago? Has anyone figured out yet what the "Toy Boat" fetish is?

Also today a

1) broke my glasses in half by stepping on them while getting up to pee at 4 am, then drove half lind to the supermarket for superglue so I could go to work.

and 2) Spent 2 HOURS purchasing the books for my boss AND HER HUSBAND'S class which they are taking and marking with post-it notes the sections she has to read with the dates as detailed in the syllabus. I swear to God, next week I am going to have to DO her homework for her!

I'm not sure I want to know. And from me, that's saying something.

Oh, you're kidding me! No, you're not.

Sophia, that's fucking ridiculous. Protest.

Loudly.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I need to pack it in so I'm home in time for CSI.

EEK! Thanks for the reminder. I still need to catch up from last week.

I really should get us some better sheets. I think we're currently using sheets with thread counts people wouldn't use for their dogs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And now a co-worker is arranging a first date on the phone. Assuming he is working every second he's not obviously talking about something not work-related ... he works less than I do.

And that's not even counting the fact that I'll be writing in two other work documents between starting this post and hitting Post Message.

I at least like to think I'm all slick, and shit, and not REALLY LOUDLY MACKING.

If you insented to my (former) profile address, Lee, I won't see it until I get home. I'll be leaving in about 15 minutes, so no big.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.
