"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

That would be funny. I really want 24 to do a couple of episodes wherein Jack is stuck in traffic the whole time. Stuff keeps happening in the other storylines, but everytime we cut to Jack he's not moving, slamming the steering wheel and cursing at the other drivers. And an episode where he takes a nap.

Or an entire episode trying to find a restroom.

Have we EVER seen anyone on that show take a bathroom break (except as an excuse to make a run for it)?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We had a cat kill a turtle when I was a kid. He used the fierce method of murder known as "falling asleep on top of it by accident." Sweetest cat ever--he had no idea. We did call him The Mighty Hunter after that, though.

I think that did the trick, because I can totally see Ozzie doing that.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

To be truthful, once in the first season (which began at midnight), Jack dozed off while trying to hold a woman hostage (at 11am). As it had been more than a day since he'd slept, it was reasonable that he should doze off.

I give them extra points for the logical conclusion to which the woman came, which was -- Dude is sleeping. Run away now!

It was a 20-minute cat nap. Man, those are amazingly rejuvenizing! He didn't sleep for the rest of the year/day.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think the wife did once in S1.

Lee, I immediately thought of the cats going fishing. Petri managed to snag a couple of fish when I had my aquarium set up.

Punishingly Intricate

REALLY!? Ahrg. Why?

Well, it may be an B'more Legend but supposedly once they know you'll come in once they call you as soon as your eligible to be called in again (ie, after a year).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It is possible I hate Six Sigma. Critical to Quality Tree? You've got to be kidding.

I know they can, but sheesh. I wonder if moving resets you in the eligibility pool.

My dad used to get called fairly frequently until there were a couple rounds of mule and/or coyote cases he was up for. Due to some work he did in the 80s, no sane prosector wanted him on the jury. After those, it was like he fell off the rolls.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had an offsite meeting looking at a space for an event. why do people like mirrored walls?

I swear that if I ever get married, finding a reception place will be the hardest part because I find so many things tacky.

Also only 28 posts since I left? what? are people working? that sucks. for all of us.

I don't understand this sentence, since I don't know what Six Sigma is. I think that is probably a good thing though, right?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like SIx Sigma in theory. I reserve the right to change my mind if I ever actually apply it to anything.

Also, still like NPV.

ANd need to eat something. Why does lunch not spontaneously appear on my desk?
