I never warmed up to NYC radio. I think not being in a car is a big reason. Also? mostly the stations suck.

I am treating myself to BK for lunch today. This makes me very happy.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

NPR is my only radio station. Though the local has been cutting programs lately which sucks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My car's presets are still on Detroit stations. I've never listened to LA radio under my own steam. And I'm good with that. Now that I have an iPod, I'm even better.

I only listen to NPR at work although lately I've been listening to Air America podcasts as well. My car radio has about 10 stations programmed in with about 5 in my primary rotation.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The only radio station I found in LA that I liked went to an all Spanish format a few years back, and it still makes me sad.

The ebay stuff does suck, Laura. I hope it works out.

I don't think driving to Catalina would work well, Alibelle.

Try rolling up your windows first.

I suppose you want me to put the top up too.

People are annoying, msbelle.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jack amused me the last time I was in KC. It's a new one isn't it?

Yep, Jack is new. It's in my primary rotation.

I can't even.

We have a Jack here in TO as well. It is on my pre-set rotation, but I'm not in the car much these days. My gym has Jack as background music. "Playing what we want" seems mostly to be 80s hits with a sprinkling of other stuff.

Sort of, but it has a lot more variety than an 80's station. Or at least different 80's hits than the other stations (like 80's album rock instead of 80's hits). And I like the very random quality of it.
