That said, I think there is just an ideological divide that is so strong that 90% of those on the right will vote for anyone the Republicans put up there and 90% of those on the left will vote for anyone the Democrats put up there regardless of the facts.

This is what bugs me about all the voting issues in the election. I think Bush probably won, regardless, but we aren't actually a democracy if we don't resolve these issues. I'd be saying the same thing, had Kerry won in '04, or had Gore been declared the winner in '00.
