But there were female Viper pilots -- Jane Seymour played one. I just didn't get the name. And one of the eps I recently watched had the guys all feeling marginalised as the women talked pilot-stuff.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

He may have had his id, but they didn't have the tape, probably because she had to get into the school when it was open, but no one was around. Karaoke was definately before getting the tape.

yeah, but they were guest stars. Though there were some regulars who were pilots, but that was incidental. They were really around to be someone's girlfriend.

I don't think it was Jane Seymour. Her name was Anne, and she was the daughter of someone famous. Also there was a woman name d Casseopeia, but I can't remember if seh was a pilot too, or just there for the pretty.
If I am there I can manual record -- is there a place I can adjust times so I don't have to be sitting there? I couldn't find one- but I shall look again
I remember the series premiere -- 1978, I think. I had taken my bath early so I could stay up and watch it, AND THE POWER WENT OUT. One of our neighbors had a tiny battery powered TV, so the ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD was crowded into their living room in the dark, around a 2 inch screen, watching this show. I remember that my dad carried me to the Robinsons' house cause I was wearing my footie pajamas. they were yellow.
When I watched the series premiere, it was interrupted part-way through by some stupid Camp David Mideast peace initiative....
the stupid one minute over lap is killing me -- I will watch one and record the other -- but I don't have the option on TIVO to tell it to record PP starting at 901 - unless I am there - which I am never sure of happeningbeth, if you have actual TiVo, I think you might be able to, unless you have an older version. I had to do this for 24 on Monday night. The guide had it listed as two episodes (rather than an hour), I think, but at any rate, it kept telling me it was going to overlap and couldn't do it.
Go into the TiVo menu. Click "Pick Programs to Record". On the next menu, click "Record by Time or Channel". On that menu, click "Manually Record Time/Channel", then fill in the correct values for time and channel.
I found how to manual record - so I will start PP pilot a minute late and I will be happy
I'm doing this from memory rather than Google, but wasn't Jane Seymour Boxy's mother? She's a civilian and is conveniently killed in order to give angst to Apollo's character. And wasn't the woman who wanted to be a pilot Apollo's sister?
But there were female Viper pilots -- Jane Seymour played one.
Not Jane Seymour, Anne Lockhart. Seymour was Boxey's mother, and she died in the first ep. Lockhart (June's daughter) was added mid-season, and wasn't really anyone's love interest. Well, maybe Apollo's, but she was there mostly to shoot things.

The other thing that happened during the premiere was they announced the signing of the Camp David Accords, and ABC cut away from the show for hours (it seemed) to show us Carter, Begin, and Sadat all hugging and kissing and speechifying.
