I learned eeny meeny with the n-word from my friends when I was 6 or 7. The first time I said it that way at home one or the other of my parents told me in no uncertain terms not to say that word again.
I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

I will be, shortly. Fair skin, dark hair and Mediterranean blood do not make for a naturally hair-free visage. My dermatologist is estimating it will cost around $1000 to take care of it all.
