Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I pretty much only buy snack food if I'm planning to make a meal of it. Then I figure it works itself out.

I know nothing about lash tintage, but am ALL ABOUT eyebrow shapage. I have no problem with waxing, but if that freaks you out, you could look into threading. It's like bulk plucking, done by twisting threads. Or something.

Waxing is fine. I like the warm and have a fairly high pain tolerance.

I've always wondered about threading.

I can't imagine that they are much different in terms of how long they last (a pluck is a pluck...heh heh) but is one more 'spensive than the other?

Just on a guess, I'd bet you can find them each in a range of prices, depending on the place -- fancy salon vs. Korean nail shop vs. Chinatown, you know?

You're in DC, right, Beej? [link]

One of these days I should try the threading...I think I'm too lazy -- usually I wait until I can't take it anymore, and then run into the closest nail place. Possibly not the best strategy.

What is even happening?

Beej, I know the place near me (which is no where near you) uses a vegetable base for their lash and brow tints. I don't think you have to be afraid, as long as you stick to a reputable place. The threading thing scares me. Waxing my eyebrows never hurts. I haven't needed the lip wax yet. We'll see if that's how my hormones assault me next, though.

I am jealous of people who don't need lip maintenance.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Me too. And my lip always breaks out into a zit moustache right after. But then? 5 weeks of not being confused for a badly maintained drag queen.

I am afraid of the zits as we speak. I should go hit it with the Clean-n-clear.
