I'm avoiding deadlines right now. Short term, fucking great.
People are talking about the SoCal woman that moved barricades to drive into a flooded area, resulting in the death of her toddler. God, some people. Why does she get to walk away from that level of stupidity?
She's looking for a career breakdown at this pace.
Is it possible she's lined up a new job and wants to leave quickly without giving notice? Would she be due her vacation if she left, or left without giving two weeks?

How are all you CA people doing? anyone live in flooded areas?
I am avoiding 2 calls I need to make for a deadline. not sure why. it's just that doing stuff on amazon and netflix and bookcrossing is so much more fun.

Ditto, although I'm betting it's just a case of "rules are for people other than me."
