The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've never heard of that before, Kat. It sounds merry indeed.

Apparently it's been going on in our neighborhood for 21 years. But we never noticed it until now.

WEIRD.

Yet Merry.

But the better part is how many of our neighbors, people we've never seen before, were outside being friendly. It was a total Stars Hollow Moment.

Ah, for those of us with more morbid inclinations, it's perhaps time once again for The Carol of the Old Ones.

I am having a little wine, but not sure how much longer I will be around, as I am about to fall asleep on my feet after getting up at 6 am, cleaning 4 rooms of my house, doing laundrey and going for Christmas Eve with my best friend and her family, which consists of me watching kids so actual parents can have a break.

Best friend's brother #3 (who I also do theatre with) very thoughtlfully bought me a Sam Gamgee action figure (and he HATES LOTR) and I feel like an ass because I bought him a nice candy bar and a Christmas ornament. Ah well.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

we just had a visit from Santa.. A friend came to the door, Matt invited him in . Friend was a ll like " i would but this wierd ball of light went across the sky.." ( I'm thinking - what's he up to. Matt's thinking... More fireworks?) Matt goes out side and jumps a mile as Santa jumps out of the bushes at him. A friend of ours has been going aound to houses and showing up at house of kids that know Santa's true id. and fooling them all. Santa was happy because we fed him nog with rum - and he was able to drink it 'cause he could take off his beard. Seeing matt get scared by Santa - priceless

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Uh-oh. The board is stuck green....
