I think the
brother
is likely
innocent. He was just way too freaked out by the whole thing--cowering in the laundry room, or back hall, or wherever the agents found him.
Poor
Lukas Haas. Do you think he's going to make it out alive?
It looks like they're going to make
Behrooz (sp? Turkish kid) kill the girlfriend, tonight.
I suspect this plot is going to be a
bit of a fantasy about trying people like Rummy and Ashcroft for their crimes against humanity.

Oh, JohnSweden, no I don't think
Behrooz's girlfriend is in on anything. She's just too typical teen, wrapped up in her romance, and not picking up on any cues that she should walk away. If she was part of something, I don't think she would have let herself get caught spying, like that.

I have great fears for the longevity of the
Lukas Haas
character.
I totally agree that
Terrorist!Teen! is going to be forced to kill Debbie.
I told Scott that
Debbie's
only hope, now lies in her being a stereotypical
TV!Teen, and saying something like, "No. I'm not coming over. I thought I forgave you earlier, but then I got wicked pissed off. Besides, I think I like Austin, now. We are so over."

I liked the client who didn't want his website to look computer-generated.
On 24,
I think Jack's girlfriend and the new CTU head are annoying but not evil. I'm guessing TerrorTeen will be unable to kill Debbie and will go on the run or that killing Debbie turns him away from the dark side. The brother probably gave away his father's visit to his fellow protestors, who have been infiltrated by bad guys. I also wonder why, in a office full of guns, no one has shot Chloe.
And Jack is still hot.
Cindy, that's what I was thinking except
it would be cool if she was really an agent and playing at being a lovesick clunky teen to lower Berus' (sp?) guard and infiltrate his cell. It seems like lots of people on this show are longevity-challenged. It will be interesting to see who makes it. I think the CTU boss is incompetent, but in a way that is difficult to prove, judgement calls and interpreting protocols. It is kind of sad that the guy they replaced Bauer with didn't even make it to the second night. That's a steep learning curve.
Re 24:
I don't know who is going to turn out to be evil, but my money is on the new slow-talking guy (Edgar?) who's gonna pull a Kaiser Soze on us before the season's out. I do think Jack should have helped Ronnie grab the dude who took Andrew instead of going rogue at the drop of a hat. I really can't blame that woman for firing him.
Well, I think that
Jack
was following the mandate of his new job in which the welfare of
the Secretary of Defense.
And what'sername
fired
Jack because of his
drug habit
(well, that's what was said) rather than his tendency to
go rogue.
On 24:
I am also afraid
that Lukas Haas' days are numbered,
but if they aren't,
I hope they at least remember later that his mother got killed.
As for the
new head of CTU, when have any of the old heads of CTU shown any simple competence? At least, when have they when not in the process of buying the farm? Maybe Tony, but he was only an interim, I think.

I
miss Tony, and Michelle, and even Chappelle ('tho bringing him back would be problematic, unless/until they introduce vampyrism).
I don't, however
miss Kim. So you know, she'll probably be back.
Ginger, good call on Heller's son's
protest organization being infiltrated by baddies who used the kid without his knowledge.
