Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Whatsa "glass 12 point star from Jackalope"? Cause I think I need one. A lot.

Also, Cass would like to know: Does it vibrate?

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Shards, shards in new places!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's kinda like this, Cass, except prettier. It's metal along the edges, but the rest is glass, and it has fewer points -- it looks like a star of David made three D.

Okay, like this crossed with what I linked to above.

ita beat me to it. The picture I have is a little bit closer.

Jackalope is a store filled to brim with randomness (animal shaped stools with heads and tails and made out of leather, anyone?) in North Hollywood, Bernalillo, Parker, CO and Santa Fe.

Also, I wish that mine were wired for electricity. I wonder if I could use the other fixtures to make it work?

I like the candleness of mine (the flickering is gorgeous), but it is a bitch to light. I searched for star lamps on eBay and they all seem wired.

I'm sure you and lori could whip something up.

Well, today has been most of a waste of the day. The painkiller induced haze has faded just in time for bedtime.

the problem seems to be finding a fixture the right size. It's a small space in there and the whole that leads out, also small.

I don't know if it's worth the fuss finding a fixture, but singeing fingers on lighting the candles is also not much fun.

I'm going to finish making my lunch for tomorrow then go to sleep.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Those links make me want this lampshade. (I already have one, mind you, and it plus the deco elephant lamp cost me a whopping $2.50 at a college-equiv of a yard sale, but damn it, I want MORE of them.)

Someone needs to make repros of them so I can cheerfully scatter them about the house.
