Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love Peanut Butter Jelly Time. Have avoided the badgers.

What's up with the one-letter taglines?

[insert something funny here]

Including the Football Badgers, right?

Including the Football Badgers.

The Santa Badgers were amusing, but I feel original is best.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Skipped & skimmed to catch up so I could ask a question that only Buffistas can answer (at least, of the people I know): Where might I be able to procure some nice, heavy, period-appropriate fabric to use in costumes for a play about Prometheus? A friend is possibly going to be in one (as Prometheus and Ephemetheus) and I'm going to help him make his costumes.

We're in NYC, if it matters. It might not pan out (he's supposed to find out today), but since I've had his sewing machine out on loan for literally months, I'm trying to make myself useful by finding the fabric.

Um, in the west 40s? The garment district? I figure you can find anything there.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hey ya'll. I'm meeting Dana for dinner tomorrow night at King's Cross. Shall I pass on hellos and such?

SA! Go to St. Paul's Cathedral and have tea in the catecombs!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

But I feel sad and mistrustful about the board JJ mistrust. Too bad for Lost. However, I am capable of watching a show for wigs and/or for pretty. So suppose it'll be alright.

Ah, Liese, maybe it will all workout fine? JJ mistrust, while not greatly inflated, is grain-of-saltable.

I'm feeling soggy. And I generally love rain so when I am at the soggy stage, it's sort of surprising.

ita, I want dessert now.

The status is NOT quo.

SA! Go to St. Paul's Cathedral and have tea in the catecombs!

But try to avoid holding a fourteen-year-old's hair as she pukes into a souvenir bag by the stairs going down to the catacombs.

Not that I had that experience, or anything.

I saw that. ::grins:: I might end up doing that when I get back, but I'm going to Cambridge tomorrow, Brighton the next day, and then Edinburgh. So I don't have much time to do anything, really. I hate to say it, but I'm already looking forward to the end of this month. Aside from less-obvious reasons, I'm really damned tired.
