Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Congrats to 'Ouise and -t! The actuaries seem to be multiplying. They are plotting a mathy coup, arent' they?

The status is NOT quo.

My brain just made me laugh. I'm subbed to Natter and to Good Riddance, and they're next to each other. My mind took the titles are subtitles and jumbled them up so I saw, "Numfar: 31 But Looks 29", which made me giggle a lot, picturing Numfar at beauty salons and such.

I, too, am unsettled by the increasing number of actuaries around here. Something Wilcoxon this way comes?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I keep reading Natter's title as "Dance: 10, Looks: 3" from A Chorus Line.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too, Steph.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Thanks for the dry-ma! I'll even settle for non-flood-ma, as long as the safari goes on in light rain.

Cass! I knew there were localistas, I'd just forgotten who they were, and in all the rush of work (we've been going 8 Am -> 6 PM) I really start losing large chunks of brain that handle things like remembering to contact people.

I should be free 4-7 today... any interest/possibility despite the short notice? Or tomorrow, should indeed my safari commitment gets cancelled?

Librarian Warlord

Morning. I am at work, please say something that will inspire me to write engaging, insightful words about a dull subject.

No precipitation ~ma all around.

Lee, insent to your work account.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone at work said that LA's gotten its yearly rainfall already. I think that may be a bit steep (it's around 12 inches), but we did have 5 1/2 inches on just one day in December.

Oy.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

OK, we are off to watch America's Test Kitchens, that we dutifully taped while out getting groceries. Then, more Simpsons. SOmewhere in there we will eat carnitas burritos and tamales for lunch.
